Healthy Kids Day 2012 is set for Saturday, April 28th from 9am-noon! Everyone is welcome to come celebrate with us!

Our children's health is a concern for the whole community.  That is why we are joining the YMCAs across the country to celebrate YMCA Healthy Kids Day, a national event celebrating healthy living and helping kids and families embrace healthy habits they can sustain for a lifetime.

More than 1600 communities participated in YMCA Healthy Kids Day 2011.  YMCA Healthy Kids Day is a signature event of the YMCAs Activate American Initiative which is rallying YMCAs across the country to futher help individuals and families who struggle to adopt and sustain a healthy lifestyle.

With YMCAs located in thousands of communities and neighborhoods, YMCAs offer a broad range of programs, including youth leadership and volunteerism.  Ys are working to incorporate physical activity into all aspects of youth, family and community programming.
