COMMIT TO BE FIT! Each year, we strive to develop a program that keeps you motivated and inspired to continue making your health and well-being a priority. Incentives are built into our annual challenge along with rewards as you progress week-to-week. Level 1 - (2 wks) Cardiovascular Fitness Cardiovascular fitness (also knon as cardio respiratory fitness) is the ability of the heart, lungs adn vascular system to deliver oxygen-rich blood to working muscles during sustained physical activity. Level 2 (1 wk) Muscular Strength Muscular strength is the amount of force a muscle or muscle group can exert againsta heavy resistance. Level 3 - (1 wk) Flexibility Flexibility is teh degree to which an individual muscle will lengthen. Level 4 - (2 wks) Muscular Endurance Muscular endurance is the ability of a muscle group to repeat a movement many times or to hold a particular position for an extended period of time. Level 5 - (2 wks) Body Composition Body composition is the amount of fat in the body compared to the amount of lean mass (muscle, bones, organs, etc).
